Halloween candy and wine experiment
It's the one day of the year where it might make sense to try pairing some of your favorite Halloween candy treats with wine.
Because we all know you'll need it later as you rummage through the kid's candy bucket (P.S. - Reese's peanut butter cups do pretty okay with either Cabernet Sauvignon or Syrah. Just ask me how I know...).
And of course, special treats for the kiddos too.

Wine bottle costume contest during Pumpkin Palooza
Grab any empty wine bottle or cork and create a stellar Halloween costume for it. If you need either of these items, reach out and we will make sure to get you covered. Use whatever materials you want - paint, poms, paper, beads, etc
Rules:
• Submit your entry to Jovinea Cellars by 12:00 pm on Saturday Oct 25th
• Vote for your favorite spooky silly libation creation during the LC Valley Chamber of Commerce Pumpkin Palooza event on October 25, 12:00-4:00
• The bottle/cork costume with the most community votes will be crowned the costume contest champion
• Winner will receive either a bottle of Jovinea wine or $20 gift card to any Newberry Square merchant
• All ages welcome to participate. Free to enter
Let's see your creativity shine. Wine bottles don't have arms or legs (yet), but they do have a neck and shoulders. Put it to good use with your creativity!
We are always family friendly. Any little ghouls are welcome in the tasting room for Halloween pencils!

Fall Wine Club Release

Picking Help Needed at Colter's Creek Vineyard
After surviving two natural disasters in 2024 (freeze and wildfire), we are going to salvage some of Colter’s Creek 2024 harvest in an effort to produce wine from these miracle grapes.
We will begin picking and 7:00 am and will pick until we run out of steam. You do not have to commit to the whole day - just let us know what you might be able to offer. All help is appreciated.
If you are available, please plan to join us and help us make it happen!
